Early Morning Stamping

I woke up this morning with the same migraine I had when I went to bed.  It was only 4:30 but I didn't have much of a choice, so I took an Excedrine.  Well that was FULL of caffeine, so I couldn't fall asleep and decided to do some work in my stamping studio.  I got SOOOO much done!  I am actually thinking about going to bed earlier so I can get up early and do this every day!  I finished my invitations for my Downline & Hostess Christmas Party and got them mailed, stamped some envelopes and actually sent some cards for a change, make the thank you notes I posted earlier, bagged up the workshop order that came AND finished a card to post today.  Mostly all before noon!  I love it when I have productive days like this.  It gets me so motivated to work harder on my business!

For my card, I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches and the color combination from Nacho Average Challenge.
I've been doing a lot of snowflakes lately, so I decided to go with doilies for a change on this one.  I just love this color combination!  So bright and cheery.
I started with a piece of Midnight Muse that was 9 1/2" by 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4" on the long side.  Then I folded it up, embellished the flap with Summer Starfruit cardstock embossed in an inked Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, and tied it shut with the Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I just love this ribbon!  The card pulls out all of the way to see the sentiment and there is room to write your own message.

  3. What an unique card. I love the 'library pocket' style. Very clever and different (in a good way). Thank you for playing along with us @ NAC.
